WIDER Face and Pedestrian Challenge 2018

Overview

We organize a new challenge in conjunction with ECCV 2018. The challenge centers around the problem of precise localization of human faces and bodies, and accurate association of identities. It comprises of three tracks:

• WIDER Face, aims at soliciting new approaches to advance the state-of- the-art in face detection.
• WIDER Pedestrian, has the goal of gathering effective and efficient approaches to address the problem of pedestrian detection in unconstrained environments.
• WIDER Person Search, presents an exciting challenge of searching persons across 192 movies.

Datasets and Submission

Datasets are available at the Codalab site of each challenge track (WIDER Face, WIDER Pedestrian, WIDER Person Search). Submissions to all phases will be done through the CodaLab site. Please register to the site and refer to the instructions on how to download the datasets and submit your results.

Prizes

The winner team of each track will receive cash prize and AWS credits. Challenge participants with the most successful and innovative methods will be invited to present at the workshop and to co-author the challenge paper report.
